Kentucky Kingdom has recently updated their Play Safe guidelines for the year 2021. Guests who have been vaccinated do not need to wear face coverings, but those who have not had their shots should do so. However, face coverings are not permitted in the water park. In order to prevent disease spread, the park has installed more than 100 handwashing stations around the park. In addition, there are masks for those who need them.


The former Six Flags theme park, Kentucky Kingdom, is now a locally owned theme park adjacent to the Expo Center. Kids may find the low-flying UPS jets a bit unnerving, and there aren’t many nearby dining options. The closest place to eat is Arby’s. It’s best to stay away from the Horsey Sauce.

Its name is inspired by the only alligator in the park, and the restaurant serves classic burgers, fresh salads, and chicken tenders. It also has a kid’s menu and offers a unique pudding parfait dessert.
